Are there any free animal clinics,that give shots and exams for pets for free?

I was just wondering if there are any free animal clinics (in NJ)that I can take my dog for his shots.It can get so expensive for the heartworm pills and yearly visits.Yes,I have heard of the pet insurance and PETMEDS.It would be more costly in the long run because he basically only goes once a year.Thank you!!!!!!!!!!!

Call any vet's office and ask.  Sometimes they may offer "specials" for those who are needy.

Those things cost money. I'm sorry, but you get a pet, you pay for it.

Just because it's a once a year thing, doesn't mean it should be free.

I have to pay for my cat to go to the vet once a year- you don't get or keep an animal unless you can afford basic vet costs, since there is no where that does it for free.

Not free but low cost like the SPCA and PETA. A spray is only $65 and most shots are only $10 a piece.

Check with your local animal shelter or chapter of the ASPCA  nearly every community has low-cost shot clinics.  I found one in Eaton NJ.  Since you did not say what town you are in I can not give you details for your area but I am sure that your community has help for you.  Not free but at least at very reduced cost.
