Are there any free converters to go from MP4 to AVI for mac?

Question

i got handbrake for mac, and every time i try to import 300 as an AVI, it doesn't work. it did however work for mp4. the problem is, I'm using final cut pro to do a kind of video mash up, so i need the file to be AVI so i can import it using FCP. is there any free program i can use to go from MP4 to AVI? most of the programs go the other way, and are expensive. any help would be greatly appreciated

You can try WinAVI converter, it can convert any media file type to AVI, including FLV file...

I personally use ultimate DVD + Video converter suite.
