Are there any friendly, non-judgemental black females?

As a black girl myself, I'm in the minority when it comes to being kind, friendly, polite, I'm not the typical bad attitude, nasty, confrontational, staring trying to find something wrong with someone's hair, clothes, anything negative. I would like to know if there are any friendly, nice, empathetic black girls? Most of what is seen is the stereotypical nasty, bitchy, confrontational, always judging black females.

  1. Of course there are.

  2. Sure...

  3. Rest assured such people do exist, I know several.  At times it may seem like a certain group of people are all bad, but don't forget that's never true.  Every race, creed, and gender has good people and bad people :)

  4. Not just black girls. It's all teenage girls...

  5. Hi there! :) I hate how we black women are constantly stereotyped, I hate drama & jealousy between black folks in general. I can't tell you how many times black women have thought I was s****. or bitchy because I was quiet & wore glasses (I wear contacts now) or didn't speak ebonics or they thought I was cute because my hair is naturally long...I only have one black female friend & we are pretty much the same, if only we all supported each other, I think we'd be much better off as a race. I believe that unity is equality. We are in the minority but it's refreshing to see that we're not the only ones out there.

    God bless :)

  6. Yes, I've worked with a couple in my office.  They were as polite and friendly as anyone I've ever met.

  7. There are many good people out there of all races. I do not judge all black women to be confrontational - I see that as incredibly negative stereotype that should be stopped. But I'm afraid you cannot stop ignorance, which is where these silly stereotypes come from.

  8. Yes, I've met and studied with some others out there.  Most I went to college with, actually, were quite "normal".  However, I've seen plenty of these other women you're talking about -- just keep going through life trying to disprove the stereotype, and maybe you'll change a few minds.

Is it often some extra level of education that makes a difference?  People who have put effort into trying to better themselves and had it pay off would probably have less things of the type you mention to complain about, at least.  They have other things to do and know that it's a lot easier to work with other people if you're pleasant and polite.

  9. I don't fit into the sterotype you described.

I am a "friendly non-judgemental black female" like you.

  10. I'm sure there are, but I like a woman with fire in her belly.

  11. I know only one
