  1. If you are talking MotoGP, h**l yeah there are some good US riders. Nicky Hayden - Repsol Honda (world champ. last year), John Hopkins- Rizla Suzuki... Kawasaki next year, Colin Edwards - Fiat Yamaha. I met all of them at Laguna in July.

  2. Well the current 2006 World Champ [ riding with the 1 plate ] is Nicky Hayden from the US of A, so I quess that takes care of that question.

  3. Hey Yosemite (beautiful place I'm told)

There are some pretty good racers in motogp at the moment but I think the problem you may have is with the television coverage in the US.

From what I can gather, Speed TV has rights to schedule the major race championships (motogp, world superbikes etc.) and I'm told it's pathetic.

They rarely show races live, they don't bother to show all the rounds and they have idiot commentators.

Commiserations to you - WSBK's has been great this year - with a cliffhanger final round, and someone posted here that they weren't bothering to show the races till Tuesday! Outrageous.

  4. What is GP racing?

  5. Not really, they can't compete, the standard is too high now. Edit........ Hayden won by default.   Check out the latest results, I rest my case.

  6. Hayden's a dead cert., and Hopkins is really good, Edwards isn't quite there, he's had opportunities, but not been able to capitalise, or is the Yamaha really not up to scratch?

Seriously though, with last years No1 and a current 4th in the championship, what do you want?

  7. Haydan kicks butt.
