install world of warcraft but dont make an account for the monthley fee just download it and the patches and go to http://wowscape.net/ its the best private server out there

Your question is very vague, because all MMORPGs involve adventure. Your best option is to play some free MMORPGs like MapleStory or FlyFF. If you're willing to do the private server business, then you can take a risk at doing that too.

For an actual answer, you can try ROSE Online, a game that recently went back to Free 2 Play. It features 4 character classes which branch off to other ones like a typical MMORPG, but the interface is rather easy to catch on and you will be leveling up fast, so you get access to the better equipment and environments faster.
