And I mean the REAL mexican tacos. With cilantro, onions, and grated cheese. Not the Americanized taco with lettuce and tomatoes.

  1. Taco stands on the east side near Riverside and 35. The friggin best! There are taco stands all over really; more in the South and East.

  2. Curra's Grill, at 114 E. Oltorf, has a reputation for some of the best Interior Mexican cuisine in South Austin. I can personally vouch for it; I have been delighted with the food I've had there.

On the north side of town, Fonda San Miguel has an excellent reputation for that style as well, at 2330 W. North Loop Blvd. I haven't tried this one for myself though.

  3. Go to riverside dr. on friday or saturday nights. Theres always taco stands.

  4. go to arandas look up on google maps
