Are there any good automotive schools or classes that I can do from home?

I am wanting to open a shop some day and know a little bit but I want to know if there are any good schools or CD based programs that I can buy and do from home? Primarily for power sports type stuff.....motorcycle building and customization as well as working on them. also everything such as go karts, dune buggies, race cars, atvs, dirt bikes so on and so forth.
