Question:

Are there any good beaches near Sacramento,CA?

I'd go as far as a 2 hour drive or so to go to the beach. I know there is Folsom Lake and the Sacramento and American River to go to, but I want to go to the bay area, most likely near San Francisco to go to the beach. Any suggestions? Thanks!

i would go to the marin headlands. you don't have to worry about crossing the golden gate or bay bridge and its a really nice beach!

On the other side of San Francisco is Golden Gate Beach. Halfmoon Bay is south of San Francisco. Stinson Beach is about a 30-minute drive from the Golden Gate Bridge.

go to santa cruz, tho it is a far ride from sacramento. well there is a beach just north of san francisco called Stinson Beach, google map it. If u want to be in san francisco u can go to Ocean Beach which is near the zoo there.
