  1. eBay is one place to try, but I just checked and there was only two listings so there might not be much of a big audience there for you.

I found a few potentail websites for you to check out, where it looks like they might be able to help you with selling your sails.

    Good luck!

  2. Soundings magazine has regional or national editions.  Widely read.

  3. All good suggestions ... also try :

    http://www.sailboatowners.com/

    classifieds:   http://www.sailboatowners.com/gear/index...

  4. You may have already thought of this, but put up some notices at boatyards and marinas, especially where there are cruisers or live aboards.  Even though most cruisers are  on boats bigger than 27 feet, you do find a few smaller ones, and they are always looking for replacements and spares.  They also often know of other people who are looking for things, and they spread the word.

There is a site called sailnet.com which may be useful to you.

    Hope this helps.

  5. Search the net for used sails...most retailers selling surplus stock.

    or...

www.motors.ebay.com   go to sailboats and parts and accessaries....plenty of used sail auctions there.

    Update:

JSalakar's ebay search skills are a bit lacking. There are currently over 10 listings.

    go here:

    http://motors.shop.ebay.com/Parts-Access...

Also yacht club pages with for sale listings or craigs list, etc.

  6. Almost every large city with a bay or waterway suitable for sailing will have a boating community.  including sailing newspapers, magazines and bulletin boards.

in SF "Latitude 38" is one such

San Diego has www.thelog.com   a local sailing and boating newspaper.

look at communities near the ocean....search the net for sailing and boating periodicals.

In SoCal, there are so many sailboats in that range, it shouldnt take long.

also look at marine suppliers like West Marine, the local shop has a bulletin board you could post on.

    Or Boats USA...

    good luck.
