  1. The Savoy is a belter, or you could try Framptons in Maryhill it's great - if you forget your knife the bouncers give you one on the door.

  2. I agree that Saturday is a better night out but Buffalo Joes is Fantastic 7 nights a week.  All genre of music is played n the bar entertainment is fab! Very Cheesy n fun.

Id recommend avoiding the "Savoy" its grab a granny or pick a disease in there!

Lastly the "Studio" is great for letting your hair down.

  3. just go into town and take your pick

  4. Shanghai sams.

  5. Tiger Tiger, Bar Budda & others down Ashton Lane nr Byres Rd ... but depends type of thing u like

  6. I used to know a lad that ran a night called Glasgow House Theory but I don't know if it is still running, as I am from Brum and have never been!  I heard good reports on the nights though.

Wherever you end up I hope you have a good time!

  7. they are all good, depends on age you are, if you are young then anywhere in the city centre, if you are in your 30,s then west end is more suited to you, have a great time and buy one for me. cheers

  8. theres tons of them, are you going to visit and are looking for a good one, or are you from there and just wondering if anyone thinks any of them are any good?

  9. Stay out of the boozers in the city centre all are c**p and regularly close down and then re-open under another crappy name. The best clubs are either the SUB CLUB or depending what night the ART school.

  10. Most pubs on Sauchiehall Street are good, Atmosphere is the best on a Saturday night!

  11. Tiger Tiger is quite trendy and the food is nice. Lots of different drinks on Offer.  I went up ther on a business trip last Nov and just walked down the high street and came across loads of different bars

  12. Hey! Good for you if you don't know night clubs- good or bad! What good can come from night clubs any way? it is a breeding groung for imorality and drunkeness! stay away from night clubs dear friend.

  13. For a start Chinawhites on Bath Street  is closed. Its now called Kushion. 'Bottom' of Sauchiehall Street at Charing Cross is a goer. You cant go wrong. There is something for everyone. But the Best clubs in Glasgow is the The Arches on Midland Street and The Sub Club on Jamaica Street.

The best bars are on Ashton Lane. Shoulder to shoulder, friendly and quirky. A few style bars, scottish and Irish pubs. Jump on the tube or in a cab into the city. Best of both worlds!!

In fact right now. Have a night out on a Friday in Glasgow and then on Saturday jump on the train 45mins through to Edinburgh. The festival is on right now. It is rammed full of interesting people up to all sorts of behaviour. Head to the 3 sisters pub with Beer Garden then on to the Grass market, loads of pubs. Club wise Edinburgh is a bit poor so either get the last train at 11pm to Glasgow or head to Espionage. A free bar/club on 3 floors with different themes so you are sure to find something you like. Happy days!

  14. No, thats why London is the Capital
