Holmes on Homes shows a complete lack of any qualified (as far as I can tell) homebuilders in the Toronto area, eh. Why don't the home owners check on the contractors credentials, eh?

no. they all went to Iraq to cash in republican fraud. call d**k Chaney and if you pay enough he might give a couple. but be careful, if you bid to low he'll blast you in the face with a shotgun, then hide from the press (he taught osma that), so he never has to deal with his all out lies and treason.

I  live in the GTA and can answer that one!

(GTA = Greater Toronto Area)

We have a shortage of builders and skilled trades people.

Finding one at a reasonable price is not easy.

Consumers naturally want their job done quickly and they don't want to spend what it really costs so they are easy targets for these jerks.

There are good contractors out there...we had one till he moved to PEI (Prince Edward Island).  Now I'm scared to death to get anything done since it is so easy to get conned!
