I try to not buy animal tested products and have been unable to find certain essentials that are not. Any suggestions? Thanks! :)

  1. There are many... Depending on where you live you can go to Whole Foods / or a Natural Food Market is usually a good source. Luckily large drugstore type stores like Walgreens, CVS etc... Are also now carrying these types of animal friendly items.. ( I cleaned out Walgreens yesterday all their JASON Organics products were on sale)

You can easily order all the mentioned brands people above posted from http://www.drugstore.com/

    http://www.petamall.com/ Another great source!!!!

  2. Tom's of Maine

  3. Deodorant:

    Avalon Organics

    Aveda Corporation

    Clarins of Paris

    Clinique Laboratories

    Crabtree & Evelyn, Ltd.

    Estee Lauder

    Jason Natural Cosmetics

    Kiss My Face

    Liz Claiborne Cosmetics

    LUSH Cosmetics

    Nature's Gate

    Origins Natural Resources

    Tommy Hilfiger

    Toothpaste:

    Jason Natural Cosmetics

    Kiss My Face

    LUSH Cosmetics

    Pathmark Stores brand

    Whole Foods

(These are incomplete lists. I left out hard-to-find brands.)

  4. yup, "go green degree for girls" its completely natural and not animal tested! Also, you could always make your own!

  5. You can never use only not animal tested or made from animal products, everyone uses items made from animals.

  6. Best deodorant I ever used:

Eliminates odor totally, no stains on clothes, no irritation, no sticky film, fragrance-free, cruelty-free and it lasts a year.

  7. Plenty!  First, if you have a nearby Whole Foods, none of their personal care items are tested on animals.  My toothpaste and deodorant are both made by Jason.

Most large grocery stores will carry a few products like Tom's of Maine or Burt's Bees which are not tested on animals.

  8. Tom's of Maine is the easiest to find.

  9. toms of Maine, first thing that came to my head.

  10. While Tom's of Maine doesn't directly test on animals, their parent company, Colgate does.

I would go for Nature's Gate, J/A/S/O/N, Kiss My Face, etc.
