Are there any good do it yourself kits for building a custom chopper?

I want to find a website or something where I can find build it yourself from the ground up style chopper or motorcycle kits. Preferably with as much included as possible

I understand you have to do what a man has to do. But.... this is a complete waste of money. For instance no bank will loan on it and you'll get secondary quotes from insurance company's. You'll be way ahead to buy a used chopper from Big Dog or one of the recognizedd brands (and just as uncomfortable).

never tried one myself but ultima bike kits seem to be pretty cheap if you get them from the right catalog.

midwest motorcycle supply & jirehcycles used to sell them,not sure if they still do.

i think billcarr might be missing the point... even as a kit, it's still more personable than some rub handing money over to someone to have everything done for him then crowing about his custom bike

a custom bike is what you make it

a kit is a good place to start, but you don't need a kit, you just need a kit description so you know what to go shopping for and get out there and start buying parts
