  1. I hate that show, but find myself watching it. Guy Fieri is an irritating little gnome with a bad dye job and silly catchphrases. In addition, you NEVER wear flipflops in a food prep area. Idiot.

Houston really doesn't have diners, unless you count Prince's... or the so-called 59 Diner. I like Prince's, but the one near me has been closed for a month and a half for remodeling. There must be only one guy doing the work there.

The last Pig Stand closed last year, and that was a good drive-in. Sonic doesn't count as it is a chain.

I'm sorry, but Pappa's is a chain (Papa's Burgers on Stella Link closed a while ago). A good "dive" kind of place... I'm sure there are plenty, but I really don't eat at dives. My favorite place for "eats" (burgers and seasoned fries with a Bluebell milkshake is Sam's Deli Diner on Katy Freeway. The old dive-like place closed a few years ago and they reopened at Kirkwood and Katy Freeway. Nice clean place and lines going out the door!
