i agree with the first answer that http://www.pbskids.org is a good website.

here are some other ones that are really great in the early elementary grades:

these are websites my 7 year old daughter enjoys. she also likes http://www.webkinz.com but you have to buy a stuffed animal to do that one. there are educational aspects of it, though.

Try PBSkids.org . Because they have educationally based childrens programs, they have several links to the different shows with educational activities.  My daughter loves them!

If there is a specific show you want, for example, Cyberchase, go to pbskids.org/cyberchase .   This is one of my daughter's favorites because it deals with problem solving and math.  She also likes Wordworld.  That one deals with reading and spelling.  There are several to choose from!  Also check out pbsparents.org  They have more tools and activities for parents to use.   ;)
