  1. Grind (2003) is a pretty sweet movie and funny

  2. If you want a good movie about punks then try 'ghost world'.

  3. Skateboarders:  Paranoid Park

Punks as in associated with music and lifestyle as opossed to annoying little brats:  This is England.

Annoying little brats:  Lost Boys (about vampire punks),

L.I.E (very good but its a bit complex, its about kids who steal and one is g*y the other is unsure but he gets caught stealing and the owner of the house turns out to be a paedohile and its one of those things where..is he treating him like a son? or will his predatory insticts prevail).

Kidulthood ( and Adulthood, the prequel)...set in London about street kids in violence.

Them....a french film about disturbed street kid punks who kidnap humans and torture them for fun.

  4. Dogtown and Z-boys

  5. Lords of dogtown

    http://www.imdb.com/title/tt0355702/

  6. xanadu is one.

  7. to the guy who said they have nothing in comoon some of them do

    you dont just get skaters

    you get punk skaters

    urban/hiphop skaters

    emo skaters

    etc etc etc

    just search youtube for skateboarding

  8. FYI, skateboarders and punk rockers have nothing in common.

  9. Dogtown Vs Z Boys is an awesome film about the whole of skateboarding, would suggest that one. I believe there is a film which came out this year on limited release which is called Punk:The Movie which is meant to awesome too. Has interviews with with most of the most important punk bands in the last 20 years.

Depends if your after the history or just the want to watch skaters skating? Same with the the punk thing if you just want to watch bands playing hit Youtube otherwise you might have to do a bit more research into decent films. Theres loads of good books out though about the history of punk available from nearly all decent book shops.

  10. "The Search for Animal Chin" starring Tony Hawk, Lance Mountain, and a bunch of other skaters from the 80's.
