  1. "ghost whisperer"  , "interview with a vampire"   ,    ''queen of damned"

  2. The original b/w version of "The Haunting"is my favorite ghost movie. No gore or blood either.I'm partial to G.A. Romero Zombie type films myself.I like the end of the world scenarios.

Edit. For non-gore Atomic war is best. "On The Beach"both the 1959 and 2000 versions are good.

"The Omega Man is great"Soylant Green"while not quite end of the world is very good.

The third "Resident Evil"is also good but plenty of gore.

"Threads"a TV movie is worth a look.

  3. I thought "The Others" with Nicole Kidman was very creepy.  It has a twist in it.

"Carnival of Souls", an older film, gained cult status.  It was creepy and eerie.  You might be able to get a copy of it.

The best horror I ever saw was "Night of the Demon", made in the 1950s from an M R James story.  It's not obviously scary, but plays on the mind, building up a great atmosphere of suspense.

There's also the fairly new "Sixth Sense" with Bruce Willis.

I'm not a fan of gore and special effects taking over; I prefer something much more challenging to my mind.  If you look at the sites below, you'll find links to all I've mentioned - but beware spoilers!

  4. try "The Mothman Prophecies"...it was based on sightings by real people

  5. Well, it depends to you. Some people like a movie and other don't. Thats why there are so many and diffrent kinds.

But You should see he Happening if you didn't yet. The same director of The Sixth Sense... I think.

And yes The Others... I love that one.

Their is a show called Fear Itself... very paranormal. Like the Twilight Zone
