depends on where you are and what your looking for...(sit down, fast food, fancy dining)

fast food, try Grandys or Church's chicken (they have a pretty decent chicken fried steak for 3.99)

if  your in the south, try Kellys Country Cooking

if your in Georgia..you gotta try The Lady and Sons

Billy Joe Bob's greasy spoon and truck stop. The food is so nice and greasy that you don't even have to chew your food it just slides down your neck to your gut. Ummmmm! Ummmmm!

Get yourself a Louisiana cook book.  It is pretty easy to do this type of cooking at your own house.  Just buy plenty of cooking oil : ).  It is soo good though.  And worth it.
