    Setting: A rightmix of subdued lighting, comtemporary styled interiors and touches of Old Filipino and Spanish elements makes for a classy ambiance without the stiffness of a formal establishment.

    Food: The menu is a collection of local Spanish-influenced dishes, native favourites and international fare. Try the schublig with sauerkraut for a unique appetiser not usually seen in Spanish Filipino restaurants. Wash down the tapas with sopa de marisco, a light tomato based soup with shellfish that has a surprising burst of shrimp and crab flavour, or the refreshing mango and shrimp salad dressed with balsamic vinaigrette. There are several excellent courses to choose from like pastas, steaks, and authentic Spanish Filipino dishes like lengua estofado, Spanish callos with garlic bread, and all time cafe favourite, spareribs adobo rice.

    Signature dishes include salpicao and the crunchy calamari as well.

    Wine: Offers s very small selection but has an extensive list of other refreshments. The Chocolate Eh! a thick, hot Spanish chocolate drink or dessert made from pura cacao is a must try.

    Service: True to Spanish culture of siestas, the servers are laid back and courses are served in no rush. The staff's lack of enthusiasm is, however obscured by their attentive, friendly, knowledgeable conduct.

    Price: Ranges from moderate to expensive, depending on the dishes ordered.

    Setting: The ambiance is decidedly casual and light with stone floors and wood framed windows that are umistakabl Japanese. Guests sit on minimalist rectangular tables and bench type chairs.

    Food: The fare at Omakase is everything that you would expect in a Japanese restaurant but with a twist. It has an excellent spicy tuna salad, a ncie light starter as its spiciness is distinct yet doesnt' overpower the entire dish adn you can still taste the fresheness of the tuna. Other best sellers are the jurassic maki, seabreeze, crazy maki, seafood dumpling, M2 roll, and scorpion maki - all noteworthy Omakase originals. Other signature dishes inlcude the Seafood crepe salad, the Tofu steak, and the seafood dumpling.

    Wine: Sake is the drink of choice served either hot or cold.

    Service: The attentive staff are dressed in traditional Japanese outfits. They are warm, welcoming, and knowledgeable.

    Price: Extremely reasonable for unique Japanese food of this quality.

    Setting: Amidst the sturdy wooden furnishings, boomerangs, stuffed kangaroos and other Aussia artefacts is a dining hall that is reminiscent of the Australian way of life - laid back, comfrotable, casual, yet fun.

    Food: Although Outback is known for its tasty slabs of meat, the health conscious can also have their ful of veggies here with a garden fresh salad. Other starters tease you further into this culinary adventure, what with names like Kookabura wings, Aussie Cheese fries, and Coogee Bay Calamari. The imported steaks are of premium quality. Aged beef is seasoned with Outback's enticing blend of 17 herbs and spices and then seared to perfection. A sure bet is the mouth watering Outback Special, an 8 ounce center cut sirloin, grain fed and aged. True to its name, the "Too Good tenderloin" is a 9 ounce beef tenderloin wrapped in smoked bacon that is juicy and most flavorful. Now if you want to go all the way with your down under culinary experience, order the Prime Minister's Prime Rib, ertified Angus aged 3-4 weeks is slow roasted and grilled to perfection over an open flame.

    Wine: outback has a long list that are mostly Australian, naturally. The usual beverages are also served along with beers, cocktails, and other alcoholic beverages.

    Service: You are greeted with smiling faces by a polite and friendly staff who are very well versed with the menu and make good sugestions on what to order wihtout being too pushy.

    Price: Good steak never comes cheap, And that's as good as reasonable. Everything here is worth it.
