  1. im sure there are nice stuff there.

  2. Plenty, plenty, plenty. Nebraska is generally remarked as having great natural beauty, you just have to know where to find it.

The big areas off the top of my head is the Pine Ridge region in Northwestern Nebraska which has a Black Hills type feel and has a beautiful landscape of buttes, pine forests and wildlife. In this area too is the Oglala National Grasslands which offer picturesque views of endless grasslands, more buttes and a neat badlands area at Toadstool Geologic Park near Crawford.

Other areas include Smith Falls near Valentine, a neat waterfall confined amongst a timber. The seemingly endless Sandhills of north central Nebraska which reminded me of what Ireland might look like (at least early in the season). The Platte, Loup and Niobrara rivers all have great wildlife and scenery oppurtunities (many photographers loving the Platte near Kearney for its abundance of Sandhill Cranes during the right seasons).

Wildcat Hills, Scottsbluff National Monument, Chimney Rock and Courthouse/Jailhouse Rocks in far western Nebraska are great natural wonders of the American west.

Try googling for information about the Missouri River as well, there are neat wildlife preserves along it including DeSoto up near Blair.

Aside from these, Nebraska has a few beautiful natural prairies left. One good thing about being relatively flat in some spots of the state means excellent opportunities for sunrises and sets.

Google visit Nebraska and look around the first site to get a taste of where you might consider to take photographs.
