I'm a senior in high school and I'm not into sports and stuff and I know that's what most scholarships go to.

  1. Of course.  Same scholarships as those available to public or private school students.  A homeschool student in our area (graduated last year) got a full athletic scholarship from a private school.

Take the PSAT and become eligible for the National Merit Scholarships.  A higher percentage of homeschool students obtain these scholarships than do public school students.

  2. make sure to try the bright flight!!

  3. yeah.  there are scholarships for all sorts of things!  try fastweb.com and enter in your characteristics (religion, hair color, gpa...stuff that might match with scholarships).  they're all over the board.

  4. Yes, but with no record, scores on your tests better be way, way way up there!

  5. Have you check out Patrick Henry University? They are a private school that really caters to the homeschooled student. They have a lot of scholarship opportunities.

  6. Go to www.finaid.com (gov?). That site has scholarship searches. Also, contact the colleges of choice for info.
