Are there any good sets of new forged irons for $450.00?

Look for previous year's models of different brands. I have provided a link below of a new set of an older model. They are actually a pretty nice forged club for middle handicappers.

The thing with forged irons is they look new for about one round, then the bag chatter gets them.  Ebay is an awesome place to find good deals.  You can probably find a set of X-Tour Callaway's for around $300, some Mizuno's fairly cheap, and another set nice iron set would be the Titleist 680's which will always be near and dear to me.  Just make sure you have the game for a set of forged irons, they are not easy to hit, but man are they a great tool for shaping shots and controlling distance.  Also, if you want to spend a few hundred more, get the Callaway X=Forged... they are nice.

You can get some good forged sets on EBay. Look for Mizuno, especially.
