Obviously there's hundreds but i will be going to Peru. Bolivia, Argentina, and Chile and was wondering where some on the more remote side would be, in any of these countries. Anyone? Links to info/pics would be awesome.

  1. Gosh, most of the swimming I did down there was in the ocean, so it's hard to say.  I really liked the hot springs at Aguas Calientes in Peru and also the hot springs in Pucon, Chile.

By the way, if you're going to Buenos Aires, invest in a 20 minute ferry ride across the river to Uruguay and spend a few days there.  It's probably one of the best countries I've ever visited!

    Happy travels!

  2. Lots of them around Iquitos, Peru. Link is a lot of pics. Other is the parks in the area. I wouldn't be jumping into the amazon though. Things in there that can eat you.

Iquitos is the jumping off point for jungle and river tours. You can only get there by river or plane.
