Jamaica is a haven for people who can come up with new ideas in order to make theirselves marketable. There may not be many jobs for those who are just averagely qualified and looking for a 9-5 in a field such as accounting or sales. Experience is what drives employers these days.

Everyone can find successful employment in Jamaica if the person can find a skill and work to develop it, heart-nta is a good place to get certification for something you are good at or get training in that skill area. There are opportunities beyond the average that can get you out there. For  one you can exercise your skill and become self employed. come up with a smart idea that can create a job for you or something that you can sell. Look into all industries and all walks of life. See what counts and what does not. Make something count and bring people to appreciate it - you can make money that way.

Education is always the best bet. Heart-nta has a High SChool equivalency program for people who did not complete high school to get a certificate kinda like a GED.
