Are there any gov grants to pay for school and living expences?

Some one told me that there is a governmental grant that will pay for my schooling and books as well as my living expences. is this true and if so what is it called and how do i apply.

i wouldn't be able to tell you without further information about you. (which you shouldn't post online anyway.) So I will do the next best thing and point you to your local librarian with questions about the individuals grant database. Also, check at the school's financial aid office. They will have information on grants that students there can receive.
