Are there any grants out there for ex-cons?

I want to go to culinary arts school and need money to do it. do any one know anything?

i haven't heard of the ex-con grant before,there is a lot  grants out there,dont pay any one to find you a grant if you get approved you can pay after, try looking for a  community learning center sometimes they might have a free class or course you can take,it might not be exactly what you want but it could help you get closer to what you want,the more you know the better,

I've worked with several ex-cons.  You can qualify for grants from FAFSA as long as you can answer 'no' to being convicted for sale or possession of an illegal drug WHILE receiving federal student aid  and fall within the criteria for selective service.

The next question would be, do you have a co-signer for alternative student loans?  

Depending on what you receive from FAFSA and your Stafford loans, you will still have a balance of costs to cover.
