Are there any guinea pig breeders in Grand Rapids michigan or surrounding areas?

i would like to find a responsible guinea pig breeder in grand rapids that can sell me a pig for around $35 or less(it doesn't have to be a show breed just short hair or abyssian), i don't want to have to buy one from petsmart or petco.

There's another option. How about rescue? Guinea pigs are extremely overpopulated, there are tons in shelters and rescues: http://www.petfinder.com

Also, please get a same s*x pair. Guinea pigs are too social to keep alone.

i bought mine from petco (i dont know why it lived cuz all my other pets from there have died) but try out pets'n'things that place is self owened and you get to talk to the owner i have had very go luck with them there is a exsotic animal vet near it so if you find it youll know
