  1. You can have perfect health on a vegan diet, you can have perfect health on a vegetarian diet or you can have perfect health on an omnivorous diet.

If you are not a hunter gatherer, the best choice to make is to be vegan as it takes the last resources and the monster that is industrialized animal agriculture does not deserve the slightest support from anyone.

  2. I was a lacto-vegetarian before going vegan a couple of years ago. Since then I have noticed that I have less mucus in my system and I don't get the cold or the flu a few times a year any more. I also find that (sorry if this sounds like tmi) I am much more regular now compaired to when I was a lacto-vegetarian. I think the key is preparing balanced meals at home and freezing the leftovers so that quick dinners are available on those nights you come home from work dog tired.  I hope this helped. :-)

  3. Unfortunately, vegans seem to have a problem with EVERYTHING.

    I am a shopkeeper - I know.

Vegetarians, I can understand and respect. But vegans.........I just wonder why.

  4. There are two types of vegans - junk food vegans (chips and soda all day) and healthy vegans.

I am a (mostly) healthy vegan! I feel great and I feel healthy all the time. You've got to learn HOW to eat healthy, but it's easy when you get the hang of it.

Well for one food is a lot more pure.

Think of a detox diet - in a detox diet, you purge all toxins in your body and don't eat any more - toxins include additives, preservatives, sugar, dairy, meat, caffeine, all of that. For a meat eater, if they detoxed, they would reap the benefits and feel cleaner and healthy and less groggy within days. Being vegan is a better life-long more-fulfilling version of a week-long detox diet. Less toxins, less bullsht.

(Okay, so that sounded better in my head, sorry if it makes no sense.)

That's mostly what I feel, as well as feeling better morally and all that.

    That's the gist of it.

Just remember - being a HEALTHY vegan is key. You've got to learn to experiment (eating odd things like seitan and weird recipes like that) with your food and take your vitamins.

    :]

  5. There are benefits to everyone from eating healthily. It really makes no difference other than what you want as a diet. I eat very healthy. I eat a mainly vegetarian diet. I occasionally eat a little white meat and perhaps a beef steak at a BBQ. I do eat fish at least three times a week. I feel great and surely that's what it's all about. My cholesterol is has improved with my diet.

  6. Well I am myself not a vegetarian, but I have heard that if you dont eat meat then you live longer, and when you live longer obviously you are living a much better ,healthier life.
