Are there any health requirements to become a dental therapist?

For example a health requirement to become a child care worker is that they must not have tuberculosis

  1. You can't have TB to work anywhere, but the only employers who would know that would be employers that have you take a pre-employment physical which all healthcare employees have to do, I don't think a Dental Therapist would be exempt from this. But having TB or just showing the signs you've been exposed are two different things.  You should be healthy and caring no contagious diseases.
