    He had a really bad childhood, his mother died when he was 12 along with his aunt, and his older sister also died in childbirth. As a young man he struggled a lot and went into a deep depression. He was under blue pills that made him have huge mood swings and be bipolar. He sometimes wrote letters to people where he said he would end his life. When he started the campaigning for presidency he stopped, but was still under depression and had confidence issues, he didn't think he could really become president and some of his close friends were scared that he would kill himself. But he didn't he became a war hero and was a great president, that eventually made this nation the way it is and ended the civil war, even if he had the most horrible life.
