Are there any homemade fuses that burn like regular cannon fuse??

im trying to make a homemade fuse and every video ive watched shows the fuse burning with a flame and leaving ash. im wanting to make a fuse that burns like cannon fuse, it sparks instead of burning with a flame and it burns away leaving no ash, once again like regular cannon fuse. If you can get a hold of any videos or if you know of any yourself thank you very much. and please dont waste your time answering if your gonna tell me not to do it.

I won't waste your time,a normal fuse is usually  a cotton wick dipped in a Saltpetre solution.The cannon fuse however is made from Cordite.This is the substance that is put in bullets and shells.I doubt you'd be able to find any,but a gun shop might help.

I mucked about with stuff like this when I was young.

I was lucky.  A good friend wasn't.
