Are there any hotels/motels in the ottawa, canada area that are under $50 per night?

I am going to canada in a few weeks and me and a friend are short on cash. We have realized that in addition to gas and extra cash, any hotel/motel under $50 would be perfect, but we do NOT want to stay in a hostel...any suggestions?

Haven't seen anything anywhere near that cheap for years.

Econlodge is where I stayed in January in Ottawa for $55 for the night.  In summer it may be pricier, but if you book directly with the hotel.  Do not book through hotels.com or yahoo.

You may get a bargain, it's a very cheap option and it has easy parking and it's in a great downtown spot near everything.
