  1. I don't think so cutie

  2. That depends on what you mean by inexpensive. Not being a mind reader I can't answer your question.

    Name a figure please.

  3. I attended Alliance Française ( in the center of Paris, on Raspail) for 2 semesters.  Becase the teachers were often on strike the classes themselves were quite expensive, as the students were not compensated monetarily in tuition fees; nor were any substitute teachers provided for the class. Our notification of a cancelled class was merely a piece of scratch paper scribbled on, with the word, "Annulé", unceremoniously scotch taped to the classroom door.  Moreover, the quality of education was just okay. Classes were too large, with a wide degree of different student levels, thereby allowing little chance for meaningful language acquistion.   Alliance Française has "nice" teachers and "it's fun to meet new people"...however, I would not advise it as there are plenty of other means to do the latter, and alot less expensive.  I suggest a private tutor on a trial bases.  Look into a publication called the FUSAC, it's distributed throughout Paris outside some restaurants and bookstores.  Just make sure the classified ad is placed by a tutor who is " French speaking, Mother Tongue ", otherwise you may end up with some quirky grammatical rules and a strange accent. Another option, if you simply want to engage in friendly conversation, free of charge, there are (in the same publication) many French people who "trade" French conversation for your English conversation.  Caveat: Like Mama always said... be careful of strangers!  I've run into a few situations (unwillingly) after living here for 5 years.  The same goes for my 15 year old!

    Bonne chance!

  4. I think that your best bet would be Alliance Française.  I don't think that it will be "inexpensive", but perhaps a little more so than others.

    Other schools include:

    Lutece Langue (private school)

    Accord Language Training Center

    Sorborne
