  1. That'd be no since delta doesn't sell an individual plan.  Other companies use their network but delta doesn't have a plan.

  2. Sure,  I've never seen an age limitation on orthodontics, for a dental plan.

  3. Yes, contact Delta Dental.

I don't know what Delta Dental's waiting period, deductibles and copays are, but other plans that I have been enrolled in through a group policy, have a one-year waiting period for braces, with a maximum claim payment of $1000 or $1500, and it normally pays 50% on orthodontics, up to the maximum.

Tricare Dental, for members of the Reserve Component of the military, and military retirees, through Delta Dental, has an annual deductible of $50 per person, with a maximium of $150 per family. Also, it will pay a lifetime maximum of $1200 per person on orthodontics. The waiting period, after the effective date of the policy, is 12 months for orthodontics..

  4. Delta Dental has a plan which will pay up to $2000 for braces regardless of your age.  This still leaves your responsibility at about $3000 depending on the severity of your bite correction.
