Are there any intercultural organizations that married couples can volunteer for?

My husband was thinking of doing something like foreign exchange or community service in another country, but they're all geared towards high school kids and singles. Does anyone know how my husband and I can help or learn in other countries TOGETHER without just paying for a vacation?

I might do one of these expeditions one day. They aren't entirely cheap though, they can be several thousands but seems very rewarding in the end in all aspects of a getaway.

why does it have to be out of the country? not being rude just asking....because im sure theres familys still suffring from katrina that would LOVE for you to come with the red cross or habitant for humanity or somthing to help them rebuld their lives or even work at food shelters maybe be camp concerlers i know its not major glamerous stuff like being overseas but their are lots of people in your back yard that can teach you about culture suffering and compassion and you will still dramaticly effect their lives but i hope you find something that will bring you joy and contentment good luck!
