Are there any japanese based colleges in the United States?

I want to major in Japanese, and Japanese art. Where could I go in the US to do those two things?

    Don't know which one is best, but I recommend finding one that has a large number of native Japanese faculty, as the accent and nuance of Japanese can be difficult for non-natives to teach and master.

    If money is not an issue, the best option is to study in Japan. I have many American friends who studied at Keio, Temple, Waseda, and Rikkyo Universities in Tokyo. There are many other possibilities.

    Or, you can wait until you finish your degree and teach English in Japan like I did! Its a great way to earn money and learn about the country at the same time.  


  2. I went to Japan to further my martial arts knowledge, it's really where u should go.  

    However, if you cannot, come to Little Tokyo in California.
