Are there any jobs for teens that allow dogs?

i was just curious because i wanna be able to bring my dog ruby with me to work. i had a job all summa nd my parents helped take care of her at home and my dad still helps when im at school but i want to have more time to spend with her during the school year. she is a lab mix but is really small and very well behaved. i would appreciate u guys' help!!:)

  1. there's very few jobs that even allow adults to take their dogs to work.

    All I can think of is places like a vet office, groomer, doggy day care, etc.  Most of those will want you to be at least 16..  and many want you to be at least 18 to work there.


  2. I think they'd let you bring her if you did work at the animal shelter. But unfortunately, that is volunteer work. >_< You could always try a park and rec kind of job. There aren't many jobs that'd let you bring your dog unfortunately.

  3. If she's that well behaved, you could probably get a job at a store like Petsmart and take her with you. They allow customers to bring their animals in, so they might let employees, as long as she was good and you kept her out of the way. A vet's office might allow it too, if it was a smaller business. That's all I can think of right now, though.

  4. At petco or petsmart, maybe you could bring her in for a visit once in a while. Theres not many places at your age that alow you to bring animals to work with you, and your manager might not approve.
