  1. We all deserve a second chance in life. But seriously,no matter if the job is fast food. SOME money is better than NO money.I have a couple of emaill addresses and phone numbers of people you can ask about  job seekers in Texas who have had a brush with the law.

    Job Seekers and Employees     laborinfo@twc.state.tx.us

    Ph # (800) 832-2829

Labor Market and Career Information     lmi@twc.state.tx.us

    Ph#866-938-4444

Also since you're near a computer,go to this place and register for work:

    www.workintexas.com

Click on "Register As Job Seeker" and fill in all the required info such as desired job, desired pay, education level ,training, all certification, and past work history. On each past job, include a small sentence or two as to what your duties were on that job.

Include your phone number, home address, and email  address so that employers will contact you.

Once you finish all the steps you'll see a page that says,Congratulations XXXX! You are now registered to Work In Texas! Print this page and keep it for your records just in case you ever have to go on Unemployment. This is your proof you're registered.

On your main page of Work In Texas, you'll see a list of employers who come to the various Texas Workforce offices and recruit in person.
