  1. IDK about headphones but there is a k**b called volume and I heard if you turn that down the level of sound goes down too.

  2. That doesn't happen, it's a lie.

  3. there isn't a kind but to help prevent it, don't listen to music on your earphones really loudly. Try use speakers instead of earphones. Try not to listen to it too much.

  4. I hear that all the time but nothing has happened to me yet.

  5. That only happens when you're listening to music on them constantly with above normal volumes. They do no make headphones that decrease chances of becoming deaf.

  6. Thats a possibility if you wear them for an extended period, and keep the volume really loud. Instead of buying another pair of headphones, you could try keeping the volume lower, to like 60-70%. Alternatively, you could get a pair of decent earbuds or canalphones, that plug right into your ear. With these, you can keep the volume even lower, without loss of sound, since they plug right into the ear, and can carry more sound at lesser volume.

  7. Hi Raya-x

Unfourtantetly, no there is not, but putting the volume down on your i-pod, or whatever music player you listen to, can help.  Putting your volume on loud and talking on a cell phone alot can strain your hearing.  There are special bose headphones with better quality, but thse cost about 70 bucks.  So for now, listen to your music on low or medium.

    Hope this help!  =)

  8. most good quality headphones are fine as long as you limit the volumn. If you want to eliminate all noise except your music, rather than go loud, go quality. Go to a BestBuy or similar place and inquire about some good high-end ones.

  9. that's so much bullsh*it....don't believe it

i've been listening to music, recording in the studio with my band and doing mixdowns and mastering with phones on at high volumes for over 30 years now and each hearing test i have done for my job there is no change in my hearing.

if it was going to happen it would have by now
