Well I was watching a show called VIP weekend and they showcase a royal family  that were super wealthy in INDIA

so I would have to say YES !

But it seems thay are like the english monarch ...just figure heads now they don't have anysay on how the government is run

The name is officially the Republic of India, if its a republic this means it does not have a monarchy, India is instead ruled by a president.
