Are there any known Health problems that would cause symptoms of having a peppery taste in your mouth ?

Happened for a while yesterday and then again today . A moderate peppery taste on my tongue . Also happened when brushing with toothpaste .

Anyone ever hear of anything like this ?

    Phenol used in lip creams, toothpaste and mouthwash can have the same effect or taste.

    The morning sickness in pregnancy- of course.

    Menopause is a time where you can experience dry mouth, burning sensation and changes in taste perception (salty, peppery or sour.


  2. anytime I've ever heard of taste interfaces it's been when there's brain interaction.  Sight/smell/taste inaccuracies would be your brain.
