I do not trust direct debit as it allows them to take payments of whatever sum they like whenever they like, and I get charged for not being able to mindread!

I know its supposed to be cheaper but I hate it and refuse to pay by this means

  1. Land line BT pay at the Post Office by debit card.

  2. Maybe try TalkTalk.

  3. No, the first poster is incorrect, i used to work for Talk Talk and they charge 3.50 for paying by card.

i dont know of any that dont charge for not paying by Direct Debit.

Although I have an Orange mobile and they dont charge me for paying by card, so maybe its the same with their landlines.

  4. Most landline providers have the option of not using direct debit. they'll charge a fee for this, but I know that virgin media will let you pay by card, as it's what I do.
