Are there any language schools in India where long stay foreign tourists can learn a little Hindi?

I have visited South and North India as a tourist before and would like to return sometime next year for a few months and perhaps learn and practice some conversational Hindi. Are there schools or should I just get some books, learn some basic phrases and grammar myself and practice while I'm there?
