  2. Since the right of access law was passed anyone has the right to access on land and water.As long as you are not going through someones garden, causing damage or disturbing wildlife you should not encounter any problems.

  3. difficult to know off hand - contact one of the rowing clubs down by wellington bridge - like the uni one and they might be able to help

  4. I`ve just got into kayaking and found out that the right roam does not include rivers - there is a lot of campaigning trying to get this changed.  In England (I`m not sure about Scotland) river access is not good.  You should check it out with your locall outdoor centre or kayaking club.
