Yes, there are hundreds of legitimate mystery shopping companies. You can apply at their web sites. It is a good idea to apply to as many companies as you can, as that will get you access to more shopping opportunities.

No.  They're scams.  If you have to pay for employment then its fake.  I joined a site at one time and I would e-mails for jobs, but they would say that only "Premium" members could apply.  

The only way to make money is to get a job or start a business.  Not these false get-rich-quick schemes.
