Yes, there are legitimate jobs out there, but there are a lot of scams too, so be careful.

There are free survey sites, like Opinion Outpost or CashCrate as these people say.  However, you will not get paid that much.  Expect to make less than $50 a month.

Also, stay away from secret shopper type deals.  I did this before and had to pay to join and lost money.

Most recently I have been doing affiliate marketing.  You can go to http://www.my-linker.com/hop/money and check out Wealthy Affiliate if you are interested.  It costs to join, but you will find that it is not a scam.  I am a member there and LOVE it!  It is geared toward newbies and will teach you everything you need to know about how to make money online.

It is not a "get rich fast" type thing though.  It does take some effort and hard work, but if you actually apply yourself to it, you should be able to make a steady income in a few months.  There is actually a person there who just joined about 2 months ago and now makes $300 a day on a consistent basis!  I haven't been able to meet that goal yet, but I'm on my way.

It can be frustrating when you first start looking for online work. The scams far out weigh the legitimate opportunities out there. One thing to remember is to never pay to get a job.

There a lot of online business that is not scam, You can find list of scam program using goggle, and you can prevent yourself for submitting to the program.

Get involve in many forum and discussion about online business and you know which is a scam. Online business programs are rapid business which sometime has a short of lifetime. So you need to observe in forums.
