Are there any legit pet meds online pharmacies?

Question

My 7 yr old shih tzu has seizures sometimes. Not often, but she's very hyper and nervous. My vet prescribed Valium for her, but they are expensive.

We're about to make a move soon and I know that she will be extra nervous. Are there any legit pet med pharmacies online that I can order them for her? It's a scary thought because I want to make sure she gets the right med and not a placebo, but I can't afford the ones her vet gives her.

since valium is a human drug as well, your local drugstores will carry it and will fill a script from a vet.  I think walmart has some lowcost drug thing-don't know much about it but check it out. Most drugs prescibed for pets are available through human drug stores.

I worry about online pharmacies because there have been so many instances of drug mix ups and drugs not being stored properly.

I'm not sure if this place sells Vallium, but http://www.drsfostersmith.com is a great online shop that sells many pharmacy type items for animals.

If your vet gives you a prescription, you can order them from several online pet pharmacies.  My experience has been that when requiring a prescription from the vet, the online costs aren't that much cheaper.  Good luck.
