Are there any legitimate ways to make money online from home?

Question

I am willing to actually work for payment of course. I'm not looking for a get rich quick scheme. I am a full time student and part time freelance writer who needs a little extra money to pay the bills. The problem is that I've run into only scams in my search. Websites that claim you can earn $350 an hour if you invest $100. I don't buy it.

I'm looking for something along the lines of an ebay power-seller type of thing. Well, anything really, but that's just what interests me most. Any help would be greatly appreciated. Thank you!

I just started doing the ebay thing buying and selling some stuff, without reading any book or anything I just found something that works for me.

Its made really easy actually.. ebay has something called completed listings search.. Lol I already said too much. Anyway, I'd be happy to share some tips if/when you get started.

You're right to be wary - anything that charges you to join is going to be a scam.

It's a good thing your not following those scams, you'd be shocked who they nab and rip off. I would say start some type of online web site or sell site to sell certain materials to people. Or just go on ebay and start selling stuff, especially things you don't need or ever use. Good way to make a little extra cash.

There is, you just have to wade through a lot of c**p before you find little nuggets of good information every once in a while, lol.

For instance, since you're already a writer, that's in your favor. One way to make money online is to become an affiliate.
