Are there any legitimate work-from-home jobs on the internet?

Question

I'd like to make some extra income working from home but it seems the only jobs I find posted on the internet have to do with selling someone else's merchandise. I don't want to make sales, I'd rather do something clerical---that involves typing, editing, proofreading or writing. Does anyone know where I can find established websites that post real jobs?

well, my suggetion, if you are very badly in need of a home job then it would be better if you dont look for a particular kinda job..... anyways, which ever job you choose to have, just make sure it is genuine which in other words, try selecting only those home job that doen't demand any paymnet because as far as i have seen only such jobs demanding no paymnets are only genuine.... well to get on a start , i can share with you the info about a home job i do for the past 1 yr...... and as i have said before hadn't done any paymnets for this job too.... all the info abt this job would be available in the sites i am mentioning here.... and at any point of time you feel you need my help you can mail me , my mail id is in my profile page under the "about me..

Try these websites - they all have information on working from home that has nothing to do with MLM or "investments". Work from home employers never ask you for money upfront! Even if there is a background check, they ask for it later in the application process.

YES, There are several work from home call centers. use key words like call center - employment. no fee's because they are real jobs with real companies. virtual assistant's, help Desk  etc.
