Are there any less expensive turbo prop engines than Pratt & Whitney with 1000 horse power or more?

Are you trying to build a cheaper plane?  Please let me know where you plan to fly it so I can stay far away from it.  Perhaps if you explained the question a bit more, we could give you a better answer.

If you have any aviation experience at all, you should know by now that "inexpensive" and "airplane" are mutually exclusive terms.  The only other big turbo-prop engine I am familiar with is the Garrett AiResearch TPE-331, but I doubt they would be any less expensive to maintain and operate than P&W...
